Children choose much of their own day, from number hunts to mud pies, with adults alongside them.

The garden at the back is the reason a lot of families choose us, and it is used every single day, come rain or shine. Children dig, make mud pies, race bikes and hunt for numbers in it. They plant fruit and vegetables in the eco greenhouse through spring and summer, and what they grow comes back to them as a snack. There is a sensory room indoors too, and plenty of parking at the front for the morning drop off.

Built around your family Flexible sessions, holiday club, daily updates
Choose a full day, short day, morning or afternoon session to fit round work and the school run, and swap a day with no admin charge when we have the space. Holiday club runs through the school breaks for children up to their sixth birthday, so older siblings are covered too. Our parent app keeps you close to your child's day even when you cannot be there, sharing meals, naps and learning as they happen. There is 10 per cent off for NHS staff, plus sibling and full time discounts.

Our space
The nursery is arranged by age and stage across the building, from Nestlings for the youngest babies up to the Pre School room. Children move up to the Swans rooms upstairs at around age two, and every room has its own sensory room available to use throughout the nursery.

The garden behind the building is used every day, whatever the weather, for number hunts, mud painting and mud pies. In the warmer months children grow fruit and vegetables in the eco greenhouse, which the chef or the children themselves turn into snacks.

Getting started
We're set in a large Victorian building on Chester Road with an extensive garden used every day, whatever the weather, and every child has access to our own sensory room, not just one room or age group. We also get out into the community regularly, singing at local care homes, visiting West Park and the town library, walking to Sainsbury's for baking ingredients, and taking the bus to Bollington to climb White Nancy.
We're on Chester Road in Macclesfield, Cheshire, in a large Victorian building set back behind railings with convenient parking right at the front. It's an easy nursery to find and get to, whatever time of day you're dropping off or collecting.
We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years old, moving through our age-based rooms as they grow: Nestlings, Cygnets, Swans and then Pre School. Each room is set up for that particular stage, so children are always with others at a similar point in their development.
Give us a call on 01625 422 315 and we'll arrange a visit at a time that suits you, where you can meet your child's room team and key person and see the nursery for yourself. We can also talk through availability in the room your child would join.

Fees and funding
Yes, we offer funded sessions for eligible 9 month, 2, 3 and 4 year olds, including the universal 15 hours available to all 3 and 4 year olds and the 30 hour entitlement for working families who meet the criteria. Do get in touch and we'll happily talk you through what you're entitled to and how it works alongside our session times.
Our sessions range from a Full Day at £68.25 to a Morning session at £42.90, with Short Day and Afternoon options in between. We also offer a 10% discount for NHS employees, plus sibling, holiday and full-time place discounts, and there's no admin charge if you need to swap sessions.
